1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not store official records, retrieve them, perform official background checks, or submit filings for visitors.

Its content directs readers to custodians of Walker County records, including the Sheriff's Office, Circuit Clerk, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and Alabama Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked service must not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct is prohibited and may be criminal. For registry data, Ala. Code § 15-20A-8 requires a warning against unlawfully injuring, harassing, or committing a crime against a listed person or someone at a reported address. The Alabama Sex Offender Registry supports community awareness, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, background checks, or other consumer reports. Our services and those of our advertising partners are not designed to evaluate applicants, renters, insurance risk, or credit. You must not use information from this site or a linked tool to:

• Make an employment decision
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
• Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

When a regulated purpose requires a background check, use an authorized Alabama Law Enforcement Agency channel where applicable or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA. ALEA's public route is fingerprint-based review of one's own Alabama criminal-history record, not an unrestricted public name search.
